Nepal has a population of 30M, and while only about 10% of the population is Buddhist, close to half the population follows various forms of animism or native religions all of which have similar spiritual worldviews. Less than 2% of the population of Nepal has a relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray for Gospel to be broadly proclaimed in this country and that God will draw many from darkness to light. Pray for the translation of Journey to Hope into Nepalese and eventually other minority languages within Nepal.
Episode 6: Turning Mourning to Joy. Pray that the story of Ruth would draw viewers into an understanding of God’s offer of joy to replace suffering and honor to replace shame. Pray that this story will cause them to consider the offer of redemption through Jesus Christ.

As the Journey to Hope stories are shared in Thailand and eventually shared in Nepal and other countries, we invite people to message us to discuss the story or for more information.
