Taiwan has a population of 23M, with a heavy mixture of Buddhist/folk religion. Pray for a movement of God among the peoples of Taiwan. Pray that many would begin to explore what a relationship with Jesus Christ means and how He can help them overcome the burden of seeking merit on their own. Pray for Believer who will effectively share the Gospel with their co-workers, neighbors, and family. Pray for the translation work being done to produce the Journey to Hope series in Chinese, using the traditional characters which is how it is written in Taiwan.
Episode 8: God Fulfills His Promise. Pray that viewers would connect this story to Jesus as fulfillment. Pray that viewers would understand this story clearly and connect it to their own life experience. Ask that it would challenge assumptions, reveal truth, and lead many toward Jesus.
Pray for the use of discovery Bible studies that draw from the Scriptural foundation of the Journey to Hope series. For both spiritual seekers and existing Believers, these Bible studies help establish a pattern of examining Scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak and teach through God’s Word. Pray for these studies which begin with watching a JTH video and then move to reading or listening to the Biblical text directly and asking exploratory questions.
