Roughly 94% of the population of Thailand identifies as Buddhist. For most people, to be Thai is to be Buddhist. This religious tradition is strongly related to their identity. Pray for the Thai people across 76 provinces and the provincial level city of Bangkok that they would find the hope offered through Jesus Christ. Pray that the Thai people would open their hearts to a new identity, remaining culturally Thai but finding their ultimate identity in Christ.
Episode 9: The Way of Jesus. Pray that viewers would connect to this story with its focus on the teachings of Jesus. Pray that the truth from Jesus’ teaching would open their hearts to His authority, righteousness, and love.
Pray for JTH translators to communicate clearly and accurately as several languages are already in process and others are being planned. We currently are working on adapting the stories into Burmese, Chinese, Dzongkha, Kalmyk, Khmer, Lao, Nepalese, Tai Lue, and Vietnamese.
