China has a population of 1.4B+, and a significant Buddhist influence. While the reported number of Buddhists in China is a smaller percentage, the worldview and traditions of Buddhism remain extremely strong. Ethnic Chinese who live outside the country itself have a particularly high adherence to Buddhism. Pray for God to move among the Chinese regardless of which country they are in and that Believers would share the Journey to Hope with those around them.
Episode 7: Signs of the Promised One. Pray that viewers would connect this story to trust in prophecy. Ask that it would lead to deeper reflection and spiritual openness to Jesus.
Every use of Journey to Hope through the Discover Jesus Initiative is built around having national Believers and churches who are ready to connect with those who are spiritually seeking and help them come to faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for these follow-up systems that lead people into discipleship. Pray for the effective use of the Journey to Hope series as the basis for helping new Believers grow in their understanding of Scripture and what it means to walk with God.
